Although much has already been written on the subject of yoga by different spiritual seekers, still the subject is so deep and vast that every time a gifted seeker experiences and expresses his experiences and understandings of the subject, it enriches and adds something to the whole. We feel that this book may enable the modern intellectualized class to have a feel for the science of yoga practiced in India since times immemorial. More particularly, we feel that:
1. The very first parts of the book entitled Preface and Introduction are highly significant as some of the passages there give a definite impression that they are the expressions of a synthetic mind with a wide spiritual experience.
2. Another point of beauty in this book is that it successfully gives an introduction to various paths of yoga practiced by sadhakas according to the bent of their nature and the need of their soul. Anyone who is moved to seriously study this work will not go unrewarded.
